Shelby Fehr - APN, CNP
Shelby Fehr completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Olivet Nazarene University in 2013 and her Masters of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in 2018. She has a diverse background in nursing with experience in trauma care, orthopedics, renal/urology, and cardiac care, complemented by her experience as a travel nurse in various assignments. Her Family Nurse Practitioner experience includes multiple years supporting a diverse patient population where she also provided care for patients with opioid use disorders via suboxone treatment. She prioritizes collaboration with patients to optimize their health and educate on chronic disease management and prevention. She aims to provide holistic, patient-centered care while empowering patients to take an active role in their own health decisions. Shelby has a special interest in diabetes care, drawing from her experience as a Type 1 diabetic. Outside of her professional life, Shelby enjoys experiencing new cultures through travel, cooking and experimenting with new foods. She also loves outdoor activities including hiking, camping and gardening with her husband and three children.
